The continuous increase in the number of African youth desperate to leave their mother land must be addressed! Where youth perceive real economic opportunities locally, the desperation to leave their home base is significantly reduced. A key component towards achieving this is improving the standard of structures and organisations in the local country. If that is achieved, economic growth, sustainable jobs and improving standards will follow. To facilitate this, PIE is creating a platform – YAPIST Engine. The engine will allow professionals internationally, who are willing to help developing communities, to readily identify such communities and engage with them. The impact of such knowledge transfer cannot be over stated.
